Ode to Christa

And then the time came

The cloudy night sky

Lit ominously in prelude

To the passing of a cherished one.

When the time of living

Slipped into a lengthy sleep

God let out a thunderous cry

Making time stand still

For the slightest stitch of time.

The angels let out languorous lamentations

Filling the sky with a misty haze

Soon to become a deluge

As all of Heaven wept

It loosing one of their own.

As the time of mourning

Came to pass

The sun came out to dry all

The fallen tears

Of Heaven and of man.

To this very day

A single flower still does stand

By the final resting grounds

As a tribute to one and all

That in the darkest hours

Even Jesus wept.

It's been two years since you left us
Everyone I know still misses you deeply
We still forget your gone and try to call or contact you
You effected so many people so deeply
It would be selfish to say I still wish you were here
I know you are finally at peace with not just your self but your family
The pain is gone and you can finally be free.
Can't say I don't miss the talks
I miss you so
